July 2nd Meetings

Our July 2nd meeting will take place on the grounds of Bethesda Church at 1:00 P.M. and 6:30 P.M. We ask that you attend the meeting that you signed up for. Please bring a lawn chair. We also ask you to bring a mask. Treats WILL NOT be shared at this meeting, but if you want to bring a drink or something to snack on, please feel free to do so. We will try to make this as comfortable as possible. I know that all of you have been very prolific during this stay-at-home/ quarantine time; however, due to the expected hot weather I would like to limit the Sew and Tell to two items per person. Look forward to seeing you on Thursday.

Cancellation of April Meeting

Good morning,
I contacted Bethesda this morning. The church is abiding by the CDC recommendation
of no gatherings of more than 10 people. They are following this policy until April 30th
or until changes occur; so that means we will not have a Guild Meeting on April 2nd .
Needless to say, the workshop on April 3rd also has been cancelled. We are looking at
having Lynn Schmitt speak later this year.

We have an opportunity to catch up on all our quilting projects and maybe even starting
a new project that has been tugging at our creative spirit. Please, everyone stay safe
and healthy. I look forward to seeing you all in May with some wonderful “Sew and
Tells”.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Anne B.

Help Us at Thursday’s Meeting

Thursday SQG meeting opportunity for anyone who would like to participate…

At the December meeting Vicki Tallacksen and Jane Erickson talked about the
possibility of making reusable cloth pads for girls in poverty in countries abroad
through Operation Christmas Child.

We will have instructions and materials to demonstrate and make some of these.
If you would like to join us all you need to do is bring your scissors.

You may read more about this at Grace Church (click HERE).

Look forward to seeing you on Thursday with your hand sewing projects or
your scissors!
