Quilt Show 2019 Thank You

What a beautiful quilt show! Many thanks to all the show committee members, and all the members of Sinnissippi Quilters who worked so hard to produce this wonderful show. It was truly ”Out Of This World”! Thank you to all who entered their lovely quilts for judging and display, it was a spectacular sight to walk into that large space filled with beautiful quilts. Thank you to all who donated items to the Silent Auction and Lovable Leftovers, and to everyone who worked and volunteered their time and efforts in many ways to help make our quilt show a success. Also, a big thank you to all the men who helped us with set up and tear down. We received many compliments on the theme of the show, on the special exhibit of Fly Me To The Moon Quilts, and the gorgeous raffle quilt. We will have all the final totals in the coming weeks. Again, many thanks to all!

2019 Quilt Show

qs2_2019And just like that the quilt show is over! The show was wonderful thanks to the many volunteers who spent hours planning, making quilts, setting up, working during the show, and tearing down. A message from Phyllis Campbell, list of winners and more pictures will be coming later this week.

We have a few items that were left at the show. If you lost something, please fill out the Contact form and we’ll let you know if it’s on the list and where you can retrieve it.

Thursday, May 2nd

Program: Linda Jones, Quilts of Valor, 1:00 and 7:00


Quilt Show Week is here!!

Wednesday, May 1st – Quilts to be judged must be turned in at Pam Collings’ house between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. You received a letter with address and map.

Thursday, May 2nd – Judging day 8:00 a.m. – when finished. If you volunteered to help, you received a letter with further information.

Friday, May 3rd – Quilts for display must be dropped off at the Indoor Sports Center, 8800 E. Riverside Blvd. between 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. You received a letter with further instructions.

Set up begins at 8:00 a.m. An email went out last week with links to all three days’ volunteer lists.

Saturday, May 4th – The quilt show begins, 9:00-5:00

Sunday, May 5th – The quilt show continues, 10:00-4:00

Tear down begins at 4:00 and quilts may be picked up at the Indoor Sports Center after 4:45. ALL QUILTS MUST BE PICKED UP BY 6:30 p.m. and YOU MUST HAVE YOUR RECEIPTS (which are given to you when you drop off your quilts) TO PICK UP YOUR QUILTS.

Raffle quilt drawing will be at the end of the show. Please be sure to have all sold tickets turned in by then.
