Programs are held on the first Thursday of each month at 1:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at Creekwood Church, 5973 Darlene Drive, Rockford, IL
Click on each speaker’s website to learn more about them. We are now back to meeting in person, but will continue to Zoom the speaker and business meeting if you cannot attend the meeting.
Workshops are held on the following Friday and/or Saturday in a location to be announced. Full day workshops are 9:30-4:00 at a cost of $40.00 for members and $45.00 for non-members. Half day workshops are 9:30-12:30 at a cost of $25.00 for members and $30.00 for non-members. We are now extending our reduced fees to members of other quilting guilds. There may be an additional kit/supply fee. Please contact Robin Gausebeck to sign up or fill out the Contact Us form.
Kit fees are payable directly to the instructors. You should only pay Sinnissippi Quilters for the workshop cost. Please do not pay Sinnissippi Quilters for your kits – it only makes things complicated for the guild and for our speakers.

Unfortunately, Alex Anderson has let us know that she will not be able to be our June speaker. Alex was diagnosed with breast cancer last November and has since undergone a double mastectomy and several breast reconstruction surgeries. While she is continuing to heal, her lack of stamina has made it impossible to do any lecturing or workshops.
She has a message that she wanted me to pass on to all of you. Please have your annual mammogram and do regular breast exams. Early detection of breast cancer is so important.
In place of Alex, we will welcome one of her good friends Sujata Shah. Sujata will present two different lectures:
Afternoon: “The Root Connection”
Evening: “Stories in Stitches”
