Neonatal quilts are made by guild members for the neonatal units at Mercy Health (Rockford Memorial) and Swedish American hospitals. These quilts are draped over the incubators and are given to the family when they leave the hospital. You may use your own fabrics and batting, however, the guild has a lot of fabric and batting to use for the quilts. Chairperson: Linda Egeland
GUIDELINES FOR NEO-NATAL QUILTS
- Finished quilts should be approximately 44 x 56 inches (to cover incubators)
- Choose your favorite pattern (panels also work great)]
- Use 100% cotton or flannel
- Colorful
